Privacy Policy

Overview
ListingGuard is being developed as a desktop application for Etsy sellers. This policy describes the intended handling of information used to provide the application and its licensing features.
Etsy authorization
ListingGuard is designed to use Etsy OAuth. Your Etsy password remains with Etsy and should not be provided to ListingGuard. Access is limited to permissions granted through Etsy authorization.
Listing data
The desktop application may store listing snapshots and related review data locally on your device so it can compare changes over time. Production features may also require limited server-side identifiers for licensing and authorization.
Licensing
The ListingGuard license service may store a shop identifier, trial status, license status, device authorization identifiers, and payment transaction identifiers needed to enforce licensing and recover access.
Payments
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. ListingGuard does not receive or store your complete payment card number. Stripe may process payment and transaction information under its own privacy practices.
Reviews and feedback
If you submit a ListingGuard review, we collect your Etsy shop name to verify that the shop has used ListingGuard, your star rating and review text, your chosen public display option (Etsy shop name or a name you provide), and any optional private feature suggestion. Reviews are moderated before publication. Only the public display identity you choose, your rating, review text, and verification badge are shown publicly. Private feature suggestions are not published.
Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to limit exposure of authorization secrets and license-service credentials. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
